The Research Hub will hold its second symposium at the University of Auckland on Monday 9 December. Professor Mark Jackson from the University of Exeter will be
delivering the keynote presentation: ‘Healthy Publics: Enabling Cultures and Environments for Health’.

The University of Auckland Research Hub: Healthy people, healthy communities, healthy societies: a critical perspective on health and well-being, held its inaugural symposium on Thursday 13 June 2019. The day was a resounding success, starting with Dr David Coall from Edith Cowan University, Australia, presenting on the Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Study. Dr Coall’s presentation on the processes of running a long term project with NGOs and its intersection with policy really got us off to good start. The remainder of the day was spent engaging with member’s introductory presentations on their research and planning future plans for this innovative and exciting Research Hub.
